Current Progress of the Research Paper

I have started some serious work on my research paper last Friday, which is on 25th of January, as the supposed dateline is on 28th of January. When I thought I couldn't finish on time, the module leader of this module had extended the deadline to 30th January 8:30 am! Thank goodness! Therefore, I took some time out to write this blog post.

What I have done.....

In the previous post, I have planned out my research online. Therefore, I did some serious work and I am going to update my progress in this blog post. Currently, I have completed the Introduction, Problem Statement, Research Method and and half the Analysis of data. In the Introduction, I stated the purpose of the research paper, which is to highlight the significance of the problem in queuing up in food courts and canteens and emphasize on the effectiveness of the solution we created to solve this problem. The solution is to create an canteen food ordering system, so that people can order food in food courts through a web application accessible by mobile phones and laptops. The research methods I have already mentioned in my previous post, which includes surveys, interviews and online research.

The pictures above are examples of data analysis of the survey forms. I have created stacked bar graphs to do comparison between 2 sets of data using Microsoft Excel. I also used pie charts provided by Google Forms to show percentages to prove a certain point. I may consider plotting more comparison graphs if possible. The last picture shows the progress where I last stopped, which is the analysis of survey data.

What have I not done......

I have not done many things. The analysis of interviews are not done, the recommendation of our product are not done, future add-ons and comparison with existing ideas in the world are not completed either. Looks like today I will have to sleep later than usual. Nevertheless, I will have to finish by the dateline provide, even if I will have a few sleepless nights. Jia You to myself...... Yay......
